Results of the specific fattening action plan for zero-waste lemons

This lemon farm in the area of Librilla (Murcia) has been treated with EDYPRO biotechnology and has obtained magnificent results, which have allowed it to achieve an increase in the quantity of fruit per tree, as well as obtaining high and very uniform calibres.

Crops often have years of high yields interspersed with years of low yields (alternate crop years). This is caused by a lack of crop regulation. The tree has consumed so much energy in one year, as it aims to turn all the flowering into fruit, that it is exhausted. As a result, the following year it produces a smaller quantity of fruit with scarce and non-uniform calibres.

On this farm in Librilla (Murcia) we found at the end of June that the fruit set was doubtful, and it was expected to be very difficult to bring all the fruit to fruition and have an excellent crop with a size within the standards demanded by the markets.

EDYPRO technicians visited this farm and designed a specific treatment of 2 root actions associated in parallel with 2 foliar actions, according to the needs of this crop:

The application of the following EDYPRO biotechnological solutions, via foliar, is recommended:

MAX QUALITY 3 L. x 1.000 L.
EDYMAG 2 L. x 1.000 L.
CA-FRUIT 3 L. x 1.000 L.
CUPRO-PLUS MAX 2 L. x 1.000 L.
MELASTOP 1’5 L. x 1.000 L.

The first application on the farm was made on 25 June with a volume of 3,000 litres/ha, and COUPÉ REGENERACIÓN PLUS was also applied via irrigation at 80 litres/ha.

After about 20 days, on July 14, the two actions are repeated, foliar and root, at the same doses.

And in these images you can see the spectacular state of the trees and the outstanding harvest that has been achieved after the biotechnological treatments.

This has resulted in;

Optimum quality and a greater quantity of fruit per tree.
And that each one of them has the standard size required by the markets.

Due to the use of EDYPRO biotechnology, it has been possible to enhance the vegetative state of the tree so that none of the fruit is impoverished and all of them have an optimum size.

The other sectors of the farm with the same variety and which have received the same fertilisation and irrigation were used as a control.
