HYDROCAL is a calcium-based formulation complexed with penetrating substances, developed to specifically correct the calcium deficiency in crops; either caused by antagonisms in the assimilation of calcium or by insufficient levels of assimilable calcium in the soil.
HYDROCAL is a product developed to correct calcium deficiencies and to displace sodium salts in the soil (carbonates, chlorides, sulphates, etc.) accumulated in the soil due to irrigation water and certain fertilisers.
HYDROCAL benefits:
- Increases the consistency and color of the fruits in the thickening and ripening.
- It is a multi-compatible source of Calcium.
- It is colorless and acts without leaving stains on the fruits.
Composition
- Calcium oxide (CaO) soluble in water: 13.3% w/v 9.5% w/w
- Calcium oxide (CaO) Complexed 12.6% w/v 9% w/w
- (Complexed by Gluconic Acid)
SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS:
- pH (sol.1%): 3.5
- pH stability interval: 4-9
- Density: 1.4 Kg/L.
- Contains penetrating agents.
- Liquid soluble in water.
Application
The product is developed for foliar application.
It can be applied alone or in combination with the usual treatments.
Calcium as a secondary macro-element is essential for the proper development of tissues in the crop. In general, its deficiency is present in young, developing organs, which means that applications must be made during the period when the crop is in the development phase, forming new organs and tissues.
Applied in the later stages of fruit development, it significantly increases the fruit’s consistency.
Dose
Foliar application:
- In prevention of calcium deficiencies, apply 0.2-0.3% (200-300 c.c/Hl.)
- In case of strong deficiencies can raise up to 0.5% (500 c.c/Hl.)
For treatments in citrus, use the highest dose.
Radicular application:
- 20- 35 L,/ha. per application.
Two to three applications should be made, spaced 8 and 12 days apart.
