CURRENT STATUS:
In the SME R&D Project PIDI-CV 2018, PACKAGE MICROBIOLOGY, the isolation of beneficial fungi from the soil microbiota was carried out, and the synergy between them and their influence on the productive improvement of crops was determined, testing their characteristics on tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum). This led to the design of a new liquid product.
Subsequently, it has been detected that the average life span of the microorganisms obtained in liquid medium is lower than desired and it is difficult to scale them up and subsequently commercialise them. This is why this new project has been proposed.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
- Implementation of a process for the production of micro-organisms by solid fermentation, specifically a final product in solid phase with the micro-organisms isolated in the fermentation, specifically, a final product in solid phase with the microorganisms isolated in the PACKAGE MICROBIOLOGY Project, extending the average shelf life, which facilitates its commercialisation and use by the end user, the farmer.
- Obtaining a new solid product based on one or several microorganisms obtained in the SME R&D Project PIDI-CV 2018,
PACKAGE MICROBIOLOGY.
