These sensors are a complement to programmable irrigation systems, which offer the possibility of programming the repetition and duration of irrigation and the balance of fertilisers, among other actions, according to the indications of the agronomist and the farmer. There are already devices that allow the programming of irrigation parameters through an app, with which you can activate irrigation urgently or reprogramme it in the event that the humidity sensors or weather conditions make it advisable.
