Solution to the whitefly problem in citrus fruit
In the last weeks of summer, important whitefly infections can be observed in the citrus areas of Valencia.
These affections cause the formation of a dense honeydew on the underside of the leaves that ends up causing a lack of transpiration. As a consequence, the plant cannot correctly form the carbohydrates necessary to nourish the fruit so that they are formed with maximum quality and optimum size.
At EDYPRO we have a specific plan to put an end to this problem:
- REVOLUTION, applied at 5 L x 1000 L, prevents the development of whitefly on the crop.
- MELASTOP, at a rate of 3 L x 1000 L, helps to break down molasses.
This treatment results in clean trees and a controlled fly population. All this, with Zero Residue products that provide a final fruit without residues and optimal for consumption.
