Good fruit setting is the most important factor that influences production and quality in most fruit trees.

In cherry cultivation, the percentage of flowers that turn into fruits is quite low when there has been a lack of cold-hours and, for this reason, it is very important to activate the tree’s functions related to fruit setting:

Flower formation.
Good configuration of the ovary.
Fertilization.
Sink effect.
Accumulation of reserves (carbohydrates) in newly fertilized fruits to avoid the loss.

Last April, our client found a great loss of newly fertilized fruits.

As you can see, there are fruits affected by low photosynthesis capacity, which have stopped in their development and are about to be lost (abortion).

We recommend an urgent foliar solution to consolidate the fertilized fruits and achieve a rapid sink effect in the ovary of these fruits: with FECUNDATOR at 4 L/ha accompanied with MELASTOP (the enhancer of foliar treatments).

FECUNDATOR works by developing an excellent flower with a well-configured ovary for correct fertilization, at the same time that it affects the increase and formation of fertile pollen.

It is a product specially made to fertilize the fruits and quickly create a reserve sink effect in the floral ovary, creating an accentuated floral differentiation.

RESULTS

One day after the recommended treatment, during the visit to the crop, we noticed a radical change in the behavior of the fruits.

Only 15 hours later, the increase in photosynthesis in the tree has created a high increase in carbohydrates that have accumulated in the fruits that were being lost and the result is an excellent and magnificent fruit curd and the beginning of thickening.
