Since last March 14 of 2020, with the implementation of the state of alarm by Royal Decree 463/2020, teleworking has increased exponentially in the entire workforce that can carry it out.
Among them are agricultural technicians and field advisers who, through numerous digital tools, can solve practically any incident. In addition, the application of technology aimed at agriculture 4.0 to control the parameters that condition crops such as the weather, soil composition and water needs are, in these times, of great help.
From EDYPRO we make you a list of tools that we consider to be useful.
1.-The smarth-phone is one of the tools that can be very useful solving problems these days since through it any farmer can send us a video, photographs or simply ask any questions and it is through it that we can solve them. But not only that, it is also the vehicle to channel all the information that we can measure through 4.0 technology and for the use of applications related to it.
2.-WhatsApp. It is one of the best tools to make video calls for free with anyone wherever they are.
3.- Telegram. One of its great advantages over WhatsApp is that it allows sending files with a much greater weight than WhatsApp since it is possible to share files of even 1.5 gigs. An important issue when working in a team or people who are long distance.
4.- To make videocalls with our clients, advisers or farmers, either individually or in groups, there are applications such as Skype or hangouts.
5.- G Suite by Google. It is one of the best known and most popular for teleworking around the world since through it you can use documents, presentations that may be enough for small businesses and that now, due to the coronavirus, is expanding for free.
6.-Microsoft Office 365. It is one of the most widely used work tools worldwide and has had collaborative work tools for some time now. And through One Drive you can have a lot of storage in the cloud, creating folders that only some team members can see. Microsoft Teams also allows you to video conference with people who are not on the team.
7.- Slack. This is a tool created to reduce the use of emailing, quite sophisticated, despite the fact that its learning curve is higher than that of other tools. It is a chat tool in which all kinds of files can be exchanged effectively.
