The application of EDYPRO<\/strong> biotechnology offers a series of benefits to the crops, which help to maintain the tree in optimal conditions so that it can express its productive potential to the maximum. Our technical director, Vicente Puchol, offers advice to our distributors’ technicians and, hand in hand with them, to their customers\/farmers who need it, as in the cases shown below, to improve and even recover highly degraded citrus crops.<\/p>\n

The first is a farm where it was necessary to give the crop a boost in order to achieve an excellent size and maximum fruit quality in TANGO mandarins. In the first assessment of the situation of this farm in mid-June, it obtained a low score of 6.75 on a scale of 1 to 10. For this reason, a series of treatments with EDYPRO<\/strong> biotechnology were recommended and this farm improved greatly thanks to the foliar application of EDYMAG<\/a><\/strong>, NITROPLUS<\/a><\/strong>, MAX QUALITY<\/a><\/strong>, HYDROCAL<\/a><\/strong>, ENDOFOSTEC<\/a> <\/strong>and MELASTOP<\/a><\/strong>; and root applications of COUP\u00c9 REGENERACI\u00d3N PLUS<\/a><\/strong>, ORGANOVITAL PLUS<\/a><\/strong> and GROSKOLOR PLUS<\/a><\/strong>, as well as correcting NPK fertilisers. At the end of September, this farm’s score has increased to 8.75 out of 10, leaving the trees well dressed with new, large leaves and with the perfect balance to finish the harvest with a Premium quality.<\/p>\n

The second example is about a farm where the farmer considered uprooting the entire farm. EDYPRO<\/strong> diagnosed that the severe depression of the trees was caused by a serious infection of nematodes (this was confirmed by a specific analysis of nematodes). For this reason, EDYNEMA<\/a> <\/strong>applications were recommended, which have borne great fruit, reducing the activity of these pathogenic micro-organisms and promoting the development of a large root system without infections, as a result of which the quality of the tree and its productive potential have improved. Likewise, to strengthen the tree and improve the condition of the fruit, three biotechnological actions were carried out: via foliar with EDYMAG<\/a><\/strong>, MAX QUALITY<\/a><\/strong>, NITROPLUS<\/a><\/strong>, HYDROCAL<\/a><\/strong>, ENDOPHOSTEC<\/a> <\/strong>and MELASTOP<\/a><\/strong>. The initial score of the farm after a first evaluation on the 19th June was 4 out of 10 and on the 24th September it has managed to reach a score of 9. At the moment the trees have new stems with large leaves achieved during the summer on which a good flowering will be obtained next year and the fruit has a prognosis of excellent quality with a very high calibre standard.<\/p>\n
